Buckeye Girls State 2008
Program Highlights
The 63rd annual session of The American Legion Auxiliary Buckeye Girls State will be held at Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. Over nine hundred girls from 88 Ohio counties will descend upon this campus for a hands-on experience with a working government. Each girl is assigned a political party, city and county. Their cities are named after famous Ohio women and their counties are named after Past Department Presidents of the Ohio American Legion Auxiliary.
